  • Designed for small to medium-size deployments
  • Serves up to 25 access points and 500 Clients
Conn
  • Configure the switch to which your access point is connected
  • Make sure that the Cisco Wireless LAN controller is connected to the network. Use the CLI or web-browser interface
  • Get the IP address of Access Point (AP)
    • sw: show ip dhcp binding
  • Set up Cisco Aironet Mobility Express (2 ways: CLI or web browser)

Web Browser

  • Open a web browser and access: (IP provided to AP)
  • Open Cisco Wireless app and select Provisioning tab.
  • Start with the credentials for the admin user name and password
  • Next you need to type in a management IP address, which will later be used to browser the user interface

5. Confirm the settings. Hit Submit. Mobility Express Controller will reboot automatically.

6. Access ME using the Management IP address, see photo attached.

Operate:

  • Once the configuration is confirmed, the master AP will push the configuration to any additional APs you connect as your network grows.
